Margaret Smith Court (née Smith le 16 juillet 1942 à Albury, Nouvelle-Galles-du-Sud) est une joueuse de tennis australienne, considérée comme l'une des plus grandes de l'histoire du jeu.

Entre 1959 et 1975, elle a gagné 62 titres du Grand Chelem :

24 titres en simple<ref>11 de ces 24 titres ont néanmoins été remportés aux Internationaux d'Australie, à une époque où toutes les meilleures joueuses (comme Billie Jean King) ne faisaient pas systématiquement le déplacement en terre australe.</ref> en seulement 47 participations. C'est le record absolu, devant Steffi Graf (22 victoires).

En 1970, elle réalise le Grand Chelem en simple<ref>Avec son compatriote Ken Fletcher, elle réalise aussi le Grand Chelem en double mixte en 1963.</ref>, performance seulement égalée par Maureen Connolly (en 1953, avant l'ère Open) et Steffi Graf (en 1988). Elle compte aussi 4 petits Chelems, en 1962, 1965, 1969 et 1973.

Avec Doris Hart et Martina Navrátilová, elle est l'une des trois joueuses à avoir remporté, chacun au moins une fois, les quatre tournois du Grand Chelem, en simple, double dames et double mixte.
