- Les enfants apparaissant sur la pochette sont en fait un frère et une sœur, démultipliés par le graphiste. L'illustration aurait été inspirée par le roman d'Arthur C. Clarke, Rendez-vous avec Rama.
- Initialement prévu en 1972, ce disque ne sortira qu'un an plus tard pour des problèmes concernant la pochette de l'album. En effet, Jimmy Page s'opposa à la pochette d'origine qui représentait une raquette de tennis sur un court vert.cs:Houses of the Holy
