Le groupe a accompagné Herbie Hancock sur trois albums :

• Thrust (1974) ;
• Flood, enregistré en public au Japon en 1975 ;
• Manchild (sur lequel on peut entendre Stevie Wonder à l'harmonica) en 1976.

Le combo sort aussi trois albums sans la tutelle du pianiste :

• The Return of The Headhunters (1998).
