Le Haut-Palatinat (en allemand, Oberpfalz) est une des sept régions administratives de la Bavière, (Allemagne), située dans à l'est de la Bavière. Il est subdivisé en deux régions (Planungsverband) - Haut-Palatinat-Nord et Ratisbonne.

Drainée par le Naab, c'est une région périphérique peu favorisée. La sidérurgie de Sulzbach-Rosenberg s'est éteinte et seule Ratisbonne est un centre encore actif. Nombreux camps militaires (Grafenwöhr)
